More Than a Gym
Creating Space for People to Learn, Connect & Grow
ECA believes martial arts can be a powerful tool for building confidence, connection, discipline, and resilience. That mission extends beyond our regular classes and into the community we serve.
Through adaptive programs, self-defense outreach, community events, and partnerships with local organizations, we work to make martial arts more accessible and meaningful to more people.
Our community work is centered around three things:
Accessibility
Creating opportunities for more people to participate.
Safety & Confidence
Teaching practical skills that help people feel capable and prepared.
Connection
Bringing people and organizations together through movement and martial arts.
Adaptive Martial Arts
Martial Arts That Meet People Where They Are
ECA works with community programs and local initiatives to create adaptive martial arts opportunities for adults with disabilities.
Our community work includes SDRC programs and partnerships with local initiatives such as the Perfect Fit Day Program.
